Best Day Worst Day is 12-part podcast series where we find out a bit more about some of Australia's most longstanding LGBTQIA+ community advocates. They will share a good time they've had and a bad time they've had, and any lesson they've learnt along the way.

Paul Kidd is an activist and advocate who has been living with HIV for more than 30 years. He has extensive experience in community sector governance, having served on numerous boards, including as president of Living Positive Victoria for three years. A life member of Thorne Harbour Health, he is a passionate advocate for the rights of people with HIV and was instrumental in the successful campaign to repeal Victoria’s HIV criminal statute, section 19A. He holds a first-class honours degree in law and works at Fitzroy Legal Service.

Susan Maco Forrester is a Queer Somali -Australian sound and visual artist. As a child Susan migrated from London to Australia with her family and lives and works on the lands of the people of the Kulin Nations, in Melbourne Victoria Australia. As an accomplished digital artist and creative producer, Susan specialises in community based, contemporary arts and cultural projects.

Bastian Fox Phelan is a writer, musician and zinemaker living in Newcastle, Australia. Their writing has been published in The Lifted Brow and Tincture Journal. Bastian is an MA (Research) candidate at The University of Sydney. Bastian is currently writing a memoir about female facial hair. They are part of dream pop duo Moonsign.

Creatrix Tiara is a creative producer, writer and performance artist who is interested in exploring liminality, community, and identity through the perspective of a queer genderqueer immigrant disabled femme of colour.

Amao Leota Lu is a proud Samoan fa’afafine/ trans woman of color who infuses her identity in her public speaking and performance works. Amao’s talks and performances centre around the elements and tapestry of identity, Pacific culture, self-expression, gender and intersectionality.
